· 1999-2016: Served as Deputy Director and Director of Ophthalmology at Peking Union Medical College Hospital.
· 1986.6-1987.6: Studied vitreoretinal surgery with Prof. Zhiping He in the Department of Ophthalmology, the Chinese University of Hong Kong.
· He was the first to perform vitrectomy surgery in 1988 at Peking Union Medical College Hospital.
